Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Manager- Business Operations to support leadership in tracking strategic initiatives and to assist the Business Development (BD) function with lead management, pipeline tracking, and client coordination. This is a high-impact, execution-oriented role that serves as a central hub for information, follow-ups, and documentation across teams.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and comfortable working across functions, ensuring priorities are clearly tracked, timelines are met, and no critical actions fall through the cracks.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Initiative Tracking & Coordination
Track company-wide initiatives, projects, deadlines, owners, and dependencies in a structured and organised manner.
- Work closely with team leads and individual contributors to capture progress updates, risks, and upcoming deliverables.
- Maintain well-organised folders, project documentation, internal notes, and process documents.
- Prepare concise summaries, dashboards, and progress reports for leadership review.
- Proactively follow up with stakeholders to ensure timelines are met and blockers are escalated in a timely manner.
Business Development Support
- Track and update all incoming leads, opportunities, and client interactions within CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
- Maintain accurate records of opportunity status, meeting history, follow-up actions, and next steps.
- Support the BD team with client-facing materials, pitch decks, follow-up emails, and meeting summaries.
- Ensure the BD pipeline remains clean, structured, current, and actionable at all times.
- Prepare professional presentations, summaries, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Communication & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as a central coordination point across teams to facilitate information flow, updates, and scheduling.
- Communicate clearly and professionally through email, messaging platforms, and meetings.
- Draft internal communications, meeting notes, action trackers, and structured summaries as required.
Technology, Tools & Process Enablement
- Use CRM platforms to maintain accurate and reliable data.
- Work with productivity and collaboration tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Canva, Notion, and similar platforms.
- Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT and other generative AI solutions) for research, drafting, documentation, and efficiency improvements.
- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes, documentation, and tool adoption to enhance team productivity.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- Prior experience in consulting, operations, business coordination, or similar roles.
- Strong organisational and follow-up discipline with the ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams.
- High level of structure, attention to detail, and ownership mindset.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce), productivity tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and basic design tools (Canva).
- Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate workflows and improve output quality.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
