Role Summary
We are seeking a Business Consultant who can bridge business needs and technical execution, combining pre-sales advising hands-on delivery. This role involves engaging with clients to find opportunities,
and building prototypes (POCs), and implementing solutions that leverage Generative AI/LLMs and diverse financial datasets (market, textual, financial statements).
You will work with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), modern data ecosystems (Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric), and sophisticated AI frameworks to deliver impactful solutions.
Business-level Japanese for client engagement and English for global teamwork are meaningful. Come join our team in Tokyo!
- Lead discovery sessions to understand client challenges and define AI-related use cases.
- Develop and build prototypes and POCs or equivalent experience integrating Generative AI/LLMs with financial data to demonstrate business value.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, demos, and proposals that clearly articulate benefits and technical feasibility.
- Support RFP/RFI responses, solution positioning, and driven differentiation in collaboration with sales teams.
- Translate client requirements into solution architectures demonstrating Azure, AWS, GCP and data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric).
- Implement AI-enabled applications, APIs, and data pipelines; integrate solutions into client environments.
- Work with various data sources and formats, including SFTP/FTP feeds, REST/GraphQL APIs, streaming data, and both structured (quantitative) and unstructured (qualitative) datasets.
- Apply sophisticated frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, GraphRAG, CausalReference, and code-focused LLMs (Claude Code, Gemini, Codex) for rapid development.
- Ensure secure, scalable, and high-performance implementations aligned with financial industry standards.
- Provide knowledge transfer and enablement to client teams post-delivery.
- Pre-sales experience: Client workshops, requirement gathering, solution build, and proposal creation.
- Delivery experience: Hands-on implementation of AI/ML solutions, APIs, and data workflows in production environments.
- Solid understanding of Generative AI/LLMs (RAG build, prompt engineering, data integration).
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and API development (REST/GraphQL).
- Experience handling multiple data sources (SFTP/FTP, APIs, batch and streaming) and working with structured and unstructured data.
- Programming skills in Python and SQL; experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD workflows.
- Ability to communicate effectively in business-level Japanese and collaborate globally in English.
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented programming in Python with expertise in key data science and machine learning libraries (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch and Scikit-Learn)
- Familiarity with financial services workflows (capital markets, wealth management, AML/KYC).
- Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric for data engineering and analytics.
- Knowledge of LangChain, LlamaIndex, GraphRAG, CausalReference, and code-generation LLMs (Claude Code, Gemini, Codex).
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills for both technical and business audiences.
- Comfortable working across pre-sales and delivery, from idea to implementation.
- Skilled at rapid prototyping and demonstrating value quickly.
- Experienced in working with diverse data ecosystems and integrating multiple data sources into AI-related solutions.
- Passionate about AI innovation and applying new technologies to real-world financial use cases.
