The Senior Manager, Brand Marketing is responsible for developing and executing strategic, cross-channel marketing initiatives that elevate the GameStop brand, drive customer engagement, and support both legacy and emerging business categories. This role manages the end-to-end delivery of marketing campaigns and ensures alignment with company objectives through collaboration with internal teams and external agency partners. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in retail marketing, excels at managing complex projects, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

 

This position sits onsite 5 days a week in Grapevine, TX. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated brand marketing campaigns aligned with GameStop’s strategic goals.
  • Manage campaign timelines, budgets, deliverables, and reporting across multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Merchandising, Loyalty/PowerUp Rewards, Online, IT, Pre-Owned, Collectibles, etc.) to ensure cohesive marketing execution.
  • Serve as a primary liaison with external marketing agencies, providing clear direction, oversight, and performance feedback.
  • Build and maintain detailed marketing calendars that align tactical execution with key priorities and promotional moments.
  • Analyze and report on program metrics to evaluate effectiveness and recommend areas for optimization across key channels including social media, online, and mobile.
  • Actively participate in strategic planning meetings and contribute innovative, brand-aligned marketing ideas.
  • Support budget tracking, vendor invoicing, and ensure financial accuracy across marketing initiatives.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve workflows, increase efficiency, and streamline execution processes.
  • Ensure consistent, timely communication with team members and leadership regarding project status, risks, and results.
  • Champion the GameStop brand voice and visual identity across all consumer-facing communications.

 

Minimum Qualifications, Job Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in retail marketing or related field; specialty retail preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience managing direct reports or cross-functional project teams preferred.
  • Strong understanding of brand marketing strategy and execution across digital and traditional channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with overlapping deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of project management tools preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly present ideas and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across functions and with agency partners.
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to follow-through.
  • Comfortable working independently while demonstrating initiative, sound judgment, and accountability.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and corporate policies.
