Summary:
The Manager, Brand Marketing, ensures effective delivery of brand marketing projects. This position works closely with vendors, the GameStop loyalty and promotions team, and additional internal and external partners to strengthen the GameStop brand and execute marketing programs for our vendor partners. This position balances multiple projects and directs resources to ensure their completion. This includes marketing for both established GameStop product categories and brands as well as marketing for emerging GameStop businesses. The Manager, Brand Marketing possesses a thorough understanding of the specialty retail marketing business while developing a passion for the GameStop brand. This position works independently; interacting with his or her supervisor only as needed.
This position sits onsite 5 days a week in Grapevine, TX.
What you’ll do:
- Develop cross-channel communication frameworks and marketing campaigns that align with GameStop and vendor marketing objectives.
- Plan marketing campaigns for vendors utilizing GameStop marketing assets including email, website, in store print, GSTVand social media.
- Organize, supervise and track marketing initiatives and fulfill plans and budgets as scheduled.
- Integrate marketing program inclusion into tactical calendars to align with key marketing priorities.
- Develop cross-functional partnerships with internal GameStop teams including Ops, Pre-Owned, Merchandising, Power Up Rewards, IT, Email, Online, and external vendors.
- Identify and propose ways to improve and streamline procedures.
- Clearly communicate project specifics and ongoing status to all team members and keep team members/supervisors informed of project developments/issues.
- Provide program metrics.
- Develop recommendations to optimize GameStop marketing channels like social, online, and mobile to align with GameStop objectives.
- Participate in strategy planning meetings as appropriate and contribute to the development of quality, innovative and creative ideas.
- Support department budget tracking/invoicing.
- Actively strive to fully understand GameStop’s business and provide recommendations on developing and executing the overall vision and strategy.

What you’ll need:
- Accredited Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising or a related field preferred.
- At least 5 years of specialized retail marketing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Proficient understanding of marketing and facilitating effective vendor relationships.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Proficient project planning skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize and control job responsibilities to meet deadlines accurately in an environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting priorities.
- Working knowledge of process mapping and process adherence.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others using written and spoken English including the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback to team members.
- Proficient knowledge of supervision and professional development of others.
- Ability to remain effective under pressure; ability to handle stress in a manner that is acceptable to others and to the organization.
