Manager, Brand Marketing
About Your Role:
Dotdash Meredith is seeking a Manager, Brand Marketing to join our Lifestyle team, contributing to the brand strategy for our Lifestyle brands in Home vertical. In close partnership with the Lifestyle Marketing team, you will manage the go-to-market process for Dotdash Meredith brands and play a proactive role in monetizing our brands’ key initiatives with advertising partners. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Brand Marketing on the Lifestyle Team.
About Your Contributions:
Manage Brand-Driven Go-To-Market Process: Collaborate with internal teams to develop, create, and package go-to-market materials for brands in the Home verticals
Brand Positioning: Create marketing materials that communicate our brands’ unique value proposition to advertising clients across all verticals
Brand & Editorial Communication: Manage internal conversations with Dotdash Meredith editorial teams to develop and communicate high-value opportunities to the Dotdash Meredith sales team
Proactive Ideation: Partner with Brand Marketing team members to create new tentpoles, franchises, and cross-portfolio opportunities grounded in the DNA of our brands
Storytelling: Bring ideas to life through well-written and visually-appealing materials that represent our brands, capabilities, and ideas flawlessly
Rollout New Opportunities: Present and rollout new brand-driven materials to Sales and Marketing teams across Dotdash Meredith
Sales & Marketing Partnership: Develop strong relationships with the Sales and Marketing teams, becoming the expert on brand-driven opportunities that can support their business; provide support on client calls, as needed
About You:
2 - 3 years relevant experience at a digital publisher, with a focus in pre-sales marketing; background in Brand Marketing a plus
Excellent creative writing and storytelling skills with an ability to execute visually impactful presentations (fluent in Keynote and Powerpoint)
You’re an excellent communicator, who remains poised under pressure and can tailor messages for different audiences
You have an understanding of publishing landscape, brands, products, and trends
You are a true self-starter – provide proactive ideas, understand organizational goals, and move initiatives forward
You are comfortable working in a fast paced environment
