Job Summary:

The Manager of Brand Marketing & Communications serves as a key leader within the Marketing department, driving unified brand strategy, graphic design, public relations, and social media execution across all team touchpoints, including Tigers, Tigers Spring Training, and Lakeland Flying Tigers initiatives. This role merges hands-on visual content creation with strategic communications, overseeing graphic design, daily digital presence, media relations, and promotional asset workflows to expand fan engagement and support revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Graphic Design & Visual Content Creation: Design visual assets for social media platforms, digital advertising, print collateral, stadium signage, ticket promotions, and web features using Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Brand & Marketing Campaign Strategy: Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and stadium channels to promote game tickets, special events, and team initiatives for Spring Training and the Lakeland Flying Tigers.

  • Social Media Management & Strategy: Oversee content development, calendar management, and daily channel execution (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, Snapchat, etc.). Direct live in-game visual content coverage, track industry trends, and ensure sponsorship alignment via social media posts.

  • Communications & Public Relations: Write press releases, manage media requests, direct team messaging, monitor public brand sentiment, and ensure visual brand integrity and sponsorship alignment across all channels and communications.

  • Community & Influencer Engagement: Drive fan interactions through responsive inbound customer service. Manage and expand the influencer and blog database for strategic promotions, contests, and event partnerships.

  • Creative Workflow & Signage Operations: Produce graphics for corporate sponsor activations, manage creative project workflows using Trello, and oversee stadium signage inventory, production, and trafficking.

  • Analytics & Presale Execution: Partner with digital and analytics teams to execute presale campaigns, track performance metrics across social channels, and present actionable reporting.

  • Game Day & Event Operations: Provide on-site execution for game presentation, public relations moments, and stadium events as needed, ensuring sponsorship alignment during in-game presentations and promotion activations.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in graphic design, brand strategy, communications, and social media management.

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and project management platforms (Trello).

  • Proven portfolio demonstrating graphic creation, brand strategy, and multi-channel content execution.

  • Excellent written communication, editing, press release writing, and copywriting skills.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Background in sports or baseball business and event operations preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including long hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Works in both standard office settings and outdoor stadium environments in varied weather conditions.

  • Occasional travel may be required.
