We are looking for an experienced Manager with strong technical accounting capability, client management, and team mentorship, with a clear focus on audit quality. You’ll lead complex engagements, advise on high‑judgement accounting matters, and work closely with partners and clients on emerging issues in KPMG Australia’s largest audit practice.

We are looking for an experienced Manager or Senior Manager with strong technical accounting capability, client management, and team mentorship, with a clear focus on audit quality. You’ll lead complex engagements, advise on high‑judgement accounting matters, and work closely with partners and clients on emerging issues in KPMG Australia’s largest audit practice.

  • Be responsible for executing assurance related engagements

  • Form strong relationships with our prestigious audit clients and play a key role in the delivery of quality assurance and reporting

Skills Required

  • Strong technical accounting capability and ability to advise on high‑judgement accounting matters
  • Experience leading and managing complex audit engagements for large, listed or group clients
  • Understanding of large and complex group audit engagements within energy, logistics, retail, pharmaceuticals, or services
  • Strong IFRS knowledge and experience applying IFRS in audits
  • Client management experience and ability to form strong client relationships
  • Team leadership, mentorship and demonstrated ability to grow and develop talent
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • US-SOX accreditation
