Job Description

Design, Develop and maintain data management solutions, roadmaps and technical designs.
Govern data management solution implementations by applying a broad understanding of all areas of architectural domains (data, infrastructure, applications and security).
Oversee design & implementations for medium to highly complex systems and/ or broad scale projects
Translate business needs into technical solutions by planning, developing and refining point of next architectures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather Non-Functional Requirements ~~ Assess Technology ~~ Design ~~ Risk Assessment ~~ Governance ~~ Best Practices

  • Partner with business analysts, systems analysts and engineers in gathering and reviewing requirements. Identify key business and technology drivers that impact architectures. Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to understand scope and requirements. Translate enterprise or business needs into long-term architecture solutions. Apply enterprise vision to all portfolio, technical and application projects understanding and communicating different architectural strategies that are consistent with business strategies.

  • Conduct assessments of current business and technology architectures including functional assessment and technical assessments. Identify and document any risks, issues or critical success factors that may require immediate action.

  • Translate project requirements into detailed designs consistent with current and future platform strategy and road map while influencing requirements and balancing needs for immediate action and the POA.

  • Create effective and efficient patterns and enforce policies and standards to enable the enterprise to conduct business at an appropriate and known risk level. Research and recommend technology to improve current systems. Develop and build strong relationships and use effective communication skills to influence and accomplish strategic architecture objectives.

  • Partner with other architects to ensure alignment and integration across portfolio boundaries and promote an enterprise focus.   • Research and maintain a deep understanding of current and emerging technologies and solutions to solve business problems. Based on this research, proposes changes in process, policy and standards as they relate to the architecture and design principles. Collaborate with other peers and colleagues within the industry and identify opportunities for sharing knowledge.

  • Develop and manage road maps and technical designs, govern implementations and ensure ongoing application health by applying a broad understanding of architectural domains.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Over 12 years of comprehensive experience, including 5+ years dedicated to technology architecture and system design for complex enterprise solutions.

  • Knowledge of production rollout processes and operational support post implementation.

  • Requirements include:

    - Experience with modernization initiatives, such as migrating mainframe workloads to cloud platforms or alternatives.

  • Expertise in designing event-driven solutions.

  • Proficiency in automating business processes.

  • Demonstrated capability in implementing AI and ML technologies.

  • Familiarity with modern data platforms and toolsets, for example Snowflake.

  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to seamlessly interact with both technology and business partners.

  • Demonstrates thought leadership, strategic thinking with a comprehensive perspective on how current actions influence both present outcomes and future developments.

 
Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure of working with Oracle Insurance Policy Administration system Or Wealth Management Accelerator.

    -Understand of Mainframe/COBOL systems

    -AWS integration solutions such as Batch, Glue, Data Pipeline, Kinesis, SNS, SQS, etc.

  • Domain expertise encompasses Annuities and Insurance business

  • Certifications include TOGAF, Zachman, and AWS Solution Architecture.

In-Office Collaboration

We are a client-centric, relationship-based business. Working together, in-person, is foundational to how we achieve results. By fostering a culture of face-to-face collaboration, idea sharing, productivity and personal connection, we deliver for our stakeholders — clients, advisors, employees and shareholders. Our employees work in the office at least three (3) days per week, with flexibility to work from home two (2) days per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.
