Skills Required
- 4–5 years of professional Accounts Payable experience
- Strong practical knowledge of the Accounts Payable and procure-to-pay cycle
- Experience with vendor invoice booking, GRN matching, vendor reconciliation, and AP ageing
- Working knowledge of TDS applicability and monthly TDS workings
- Experience with GST purchase reconciliation and input tax credit reconciliation
- Experience with vendor advances, payment processing, and payment workings
- Understanding of month-end closing, provisions, and expense cut-off
- Experience with vendor master management and duplicate vendor controls
- Exposure to MSME vendor compliance
- Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP or VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and reconciliation
- Hands-on experience with ERP or accounting software
- Ability to independently identify errors, follow up with stakeholders, and close open items
- Ability to independently manage reconciliations, month-end closure, vendor issues, and payment issues
- Ability to supervise junior team members
- M.Com, MBA Finance, or CA-Intermediate qualification
- Zoho Books experience
- Import accounting, bill of entry, and foreign remittance experience
