The Opportunity
We have an exciting position open within Caterpillar as the Data Analytics Manager for the Earthmoving Division, a multi-billion dollar division. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team developing analytical tools that help provide valuable insights to Senior Leadership.
Areas of responsibility include:

  • Lead a team that will implement new analytical tools to continuously improve the financial analysis and business insights of the division.
  • Translate accounting & business issues to the team to aid in creation of analytical tools.
  • Research and apply new methods and digital technologies to exceed customer expectations.
  • Effectively lead, influence, and interact with a global and diverse team.
  • Identify, establish, prioritize, and communicate goals and objectives of the team.
  • Communicate effectively within the team and with internal and external customers, including presentations to all levels of management.
  • Partner across the enterprise to support key projects related to Global Finance & other digital strategy initiatives.


Basic Requirements:

  • 4-year university or college degree
  • 6-8 years of experience

  • Demonstrated excellence in leadership, initiative, accountability and superior communication skills
  • Demonstrated strong analytical, planning, process improvement, problem solving & human relation skills
  • Displays intellectual curiosity and desire to learn new tasks with strong attention to details
  • Experience with Microsoft Applications, Axiom, Alteryx or other analytical tools
  • Proven positive results in customer service and business partnering
