Overview

As a Manager of the Program Management team, you will supervise a talented team of Program Managers and oversee and drive the team vision, including all aspects of prioritization, team structure, best practices, workflows, cross team collaboration, and escalations. Your team executes pilots, projects, and programs that drive significant impact for the business and unlock advertising revenue opportunities. You will join and foster a team culture that promotes transparency, sharing, and accountability.

About the Job

  • Lead and mentor Program Managers with varying levels of experience, fostering their professional growth, and ensuring their success in managing their respective projects and programs
  • Oversee the development and implementation of best-in-class frameworks and processes
  • Implement strategic direction, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives and priorities, and regular review of progress towards these objectives
  • Shape and reviews the portfolio of programs to ensure strategic priorities, resourcing needs, and risk management are balanced
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and prioritization of programs and other initiatives
  • Facilitate coordinated prioritization and management of large, complex programs across the team, carrying out periodic reviews to ensure successful execution
  • Be ultimately accountable for all program reporting & communications, ensuring clear and accurate alignment with program objectives across all stakeholders
  • Oversee risk identification, dependency tracking, issue identification, and change management across all projects and programs
  • Represent the team in cross functional meetings and ensure priorities are aligned
  • Maintain open and effective communication channels within the team, and escalate risks & blockers to ensure business objectives & agreed upon timelines are met
  • Foster productive working relationships with stakeholders across the organization, driving cross-functional collaboration
  • Influence various teams within the organization to drive efficiencies and operational best practices
  • Drive alignment with the Ads Program Management team operational objectives and the broader company's business goals
  • Settle internal disputes, manage conflicts and encourage team cooperation


About You


Minimum Qualifications: 

  • 8+ years of experience in a relevant field with demonstrated Program/Project management experience and a track record for working cross-functionally to drive results
  • A proven track record for enhancing process efficiencies and solving problems
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence team members without direct reporting lines
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Excellent relationship building skills, with a clear ability to inspire change, manage conflict, and bring together disparate points of view
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with excellent attention to details
  • A problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is able to run multiple projects simultaneously


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of digital advertising sales cycles and experience with distributed teams is desired but not mandatory
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with project management certification (like PMP) is a plus
  • You are not afraid to get your hands dirty and you find motivation in bringing structure to chaos
  • You have a strong program and project toolkit, and an ability to apply industry best practices in your work
