Your Impact


The Manager, Accounts Receivable & Treasury will review processes and procedures for effectiveness and efficiency; will have a can-do outlook and will research and present solutions when faced with shifting priorities and challenges. The Manager will work cooperatively with the finance, clients, and media vendors to accurately bill all agency fees, media and production costs and other related billings, with the appropriate follow-ups, showing initiative in researching and possibly, implementing new or enhanced processes.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years’ experience in accounting, in project-based agency or corporate environment, as part of an accounting team.
  • Digitally savvy in making effective use of the company's various financial and non-financial online applications including Excel.
  • Possess detailed knowledge of accounting practices and systems.
  • A team player and strong problem solver who is comfortable in a fast paced, client service environment.
  • Must have a customer service-oriented attitude with the ability to work closely with internal and external project teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and investigation skills.
  • Must have excellent written and clear, confident, verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable in a roll-up your sleeves and get-it-done type of role to ensure management of reports, project delivery and timely and accurate billing.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage the Accounts Receivable function and manage a small team of Billing Coordinators handling.
  • Bill media services – Digital, Programmatic, Search, Social, Linear, Out of Home, Managed Service, etc.
  • Manage Production billing, Direct Mail billing, and associated billbacks of client OOP costs.
  • Improve efficiencies in the management of the billing department. Review accuracy of all intercompany billing and client billing.
  • Ask relevant questions during client onboarding to ensure billing is accurate and meets client expectations.
  • Create, maintain, and document processes that support client relationships, media vendor relationships, and organizational profitability.
  • Build strong working relationships with both internal and external partners.
  • Stay informed on changes in the financial landscape of our clients and industry and adjust processes as necessary.
  • Provide detailed reconciliations, ensuring deadlines are met and that all systems reporting agree.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • General ad hoc activities to support the finance function and wider reporting.

Nice To Have

  • At least 5 years media billing and 3 years supervisory experience in an advertising agency.
  • Mediaocean, and Maconomy experience a plus.
  • Excellent at engaging with clients, building rapport and relationships.
  • Comfortable talking to a variety of people, internally and externally to identify the right solution.

Note: Hybrid work in office is an essential function of the job.
