Management Simulation Workshop FacilitatorWITTIGONIA Dynamics is the system dynamics and modelling practice of WITTIGONIA, delivering quantitative management simulation workshops for leadership teams, strategy groups, and organisational learning programmes globally.
You are an experienced system dynamics practitioner who brings both modelling depth and facilitation skill to the room. In this freelance, contract-based role, you guide participant teams through rigorous, data-grounded simulation experiences — connecting model behaviour, feedback dynamics, and scenario outcomes to real-world management decisions. You work primarily in online and virtual formats, with in-person engagements possible depending on client needs.
You will join our growing facilitator pool, beginning with co-facilitation alongside a senior WITTIGONIA Dynamics lead and progressing toward independent delivery. Candidates new to workshop facilitation are welcome to enquire about our co-facilitator entry pathway — we are building a community of practice and will be announcing structured onboarding formats, including bootcamp and summer school programmes, in due course.
- You facilitate online management simulation workshops across the WITTIGONIA Dynamics portfolio — including our custom business dynamics models (Vensim, Stella Architect, Ventity, AnyLogic), pre-built simulations from Forio, and calibrated climate scenario tools from Climate Interactive (En-ROADS, C-ROADS)
- You guide participant teams through structured scenario decision-making rounds, connecting stock-and-flow behaviour, feedback loop dynamics, and simulation outputs to strategic management insights
- You analyse and interpret quantitative model outputs during live sessions and communicate these clearly and credibly to non-technical executive audiences
- You deliver structured debriefs that translate participant decisions and model results into concrete learning outcomes and strategic takeaways
- You co-facilitate workshops alongside senior WITTIGONIA Dynamics facilitators during onboarding, progressively taking on lead facilitator responsibilities as you build familiarity with the simulation portfolio
- You collaborate with the WITTIGONIA Dynamics modelling team to understand simulation design, calibration assumptions, and model scope before each engagement
- You manage participant engagement, group dynamics, and pacing across workshop formats — from short team-building and discovery sessions to full-day simulation programmes
- You support the adaptation of simulations to specific client contexts, industries, and learning objectives in coordination with the design and strategy team
- You deliver workshops in English and/or German; delivery in additional languages is a strong advantage for our global client base
