What you'll be doing:
Reporting into the Commercial Financial Controller this is a varied role, preparing monthly management accounts, forecasts and budgets for Recovered Paper business and Retail Card Contract. This will include:
Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts with comprehensive variance analysis for business units within your remit
Collaborate with business partners to develop comprehensive Forecasts and Budgets supported by robust analysis
Regular site visits and engage with operational teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and support business development initiatives
Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations, analyse the asset registers, and prepare business cases as required
Support the annual audit process, ensuring smooth delivery and compliance
Ensure full compliance with company finance policies and procedures across the business unites with in your remit
What we're looking for:
Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA)
Experience with Workday & Power BI is highly desirable
Analytical mindset with an inquisitive approach and excellent attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage and collaborate across all levels of the business
Full Driving Licence

Veolia UK provides solutions for ecological transformation. We are a company of almost 14,000 employees, although we prefer to think of ourselves as “resourcers”.
