What you’ll be doing:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the IWE Commercial finance team during a period of significant growth and transformation. As Management Accountant, you'll play a key role in supporting the integration of a newly acquired business, working closely with the Financial Controller for IWE Commercial and liaising with the acquired business's finance director.
As you develop in the role, you'll expand your remit across the wider IWE Commercial business units, supporting month-end management accounting, budgets, forecasts, and investment papers. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant to gain broad commercial finance experience whilst contributing to meaningful business change.
Act as the finance liaison for our newly acquired business, receiving their financial results for group consolidation and reporting
Submit consolidated results into Workday ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
Complete Vector submissions in line with business requirements
Assist with the integration of the acquired business into IWE Commercial's finance systems and processes
Provide management accounting support to other IWE Commercial business units, including month-end reporting and analysis
Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts and reforecasts across the business
Support the development of investment papers and business cases
Produce ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support commercial decision-making
Identify and drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and control
Build strong working relationships with operational teams and finance colleagues across the business
What are we looking for?
ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
Experience working within a similar role.
Knowledge of accounting standards required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills required
Ability to prioritise, multi-task, work independently and meet deadlines
