About the role

Reporting to the Head of Management Accounts, this position will primarily be responsible for ensuring production of accurate and reliable financial data on a timely basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring management accountant who has previously gained experience supporting finance teams and would like to build upon this within a fast-paced business. 

What you'll do

• Monthly reporting tasks impacting multiple entities within the Group 
• Produce and take ownership of Balance Sheet reconciliations and investigation of balances when required 
• Responsible for posting accounting journals including accruals, prepayments and fixed asset depreciation 
• Variance analysis budget vs actuals for stakeholders within the business 
• Participate in the year-end audit process & prepare ad hoc financial reports 
• Work on various finance projects as and when required 

About you

• Some experience in a management accountant role or similar
• Proficient Microsoft Excel skills 
• Proven can-do attitude with an ability to work calmly and accurately across a wide variety of tasks 
• A strong team player capable of working effectively as part of a team 
• Have a desire to or have already commenced study towards a professional qualification (e.g. CIMA/ACCA) 
• Having experience of an ERP system would be an advantage 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
