Job Description:
An international construction group with active projects in Jordan is looking for a Management Accountant to provide reliable financial reports, forecasts and analysis, and to prepare Group consolidation and statutory financial statements.
- Prepare monthly management reporting packs by company, business activity and Group, with variance analysis against budget and prior periods
- Coordinate annual budgets and periodic forecasts and maintain approved forecast versions
- Prepare project profitability reviews covering cost to complete, margin movements and expected final profit
- Prepare and update cash flow forecasts and analyze receivables, retention, payables and working capital
- Prepare Group consolidation, including intercompany eliminations and consolidation adjustments
- Prepare annual statutory and consolidated financial statements with notes and supporting schedules
- Coordinate external audit schedules and incorporate approved audit adjustments
- Support tax reporting with reconciled financial information
- Standardize reporting definitions and recommend improvements to reporting and controls
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA or CA
- 5+ years of experience in management accounting and financial reporting, preferably in construction or contracting
- Proven experience in Group consolidation and preparing financial statements under IFRS
- Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting and project profitability analysis
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP skills; Power BI is an advantage
- Strong analytical and presentation skills for communicating results to management
Skills Required
