We are seeking a Machinery Maintenance Technician with a focus on robotics to maintain and repair our advanced manufacturing equipment. This role requires expertise in both traditional machinery maintenance and robotic systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Robotics and automation-
-Inspect, maintain, and repair various machinery, with emphasis on robotics.
-Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and programming issues in robotic systems.
-Conduct preventive maintenance and implement maintenance schedules.
-Install, calibrate, and commission new robotic equipment and systems.
-Update robotic software and hardware as needed.
-Document maintenance procedures and repairs.
-Train staff on robotic system operations and maintenance.
-Ensure adherence to safety standards.
Auxiliary systems-
-Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify any issues or irregularities.
-Perform preventative maintenance on machines to ensure high levels of operational efficiency.
-Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime.
-Replace defective parts, adjust equipment, and calibrate machinery to optimal performance levels.
-Work with manufacturers or vendors to obtain necessary replacement parts and follow up on orders.
-Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed, parts used, and repairs conducted.
-Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
-Collaborate with production staff to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize impact on production.
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
-Provide training to other staff on proper machinery operation and basic maintenance procedures.
-Stay current with the latest maintenance techniques and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in robotics or mechatronics preferred.
-Experience with maintenance and repair of robotic and automation systems.
-Proficient in reading technical documents and schematics.
-Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
-Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions.
-Willingness to work flexible hours, including emergency call-ins.
US Salary Range
$1—$1 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
