The Role

As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world.

Specializes in installing, maintaining, upgrading and providing support for the Mainframe z/OS operating system and multi-vendor products installed in it, including installation, de-installation, patching and overall maintenance. Controls user access and passwords. Proposes and implements systems enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system. Monitors usage and performance.

There’s never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You’ll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance. You’ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Install, Upgrade and Apply maintenance to z/OS Operating System and multi-vendor ISV Products
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues on the Mainframe z/OS Operating System and multi-vendor Products

• Lead projects to Implement new solutions on the z/OS Operating System and ISV Products
• Good English communication skill to handle meetings with clients, partners and co-workers

• Availability for on-call shifts and different time zones

• Bachelor's degree
