About this Team:
The Mainframe Operations team is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our mainframe systems. This team plays a critical role in maintaining the stability, performance, and security of our mainframe infrastructure, which supports various business applications and processes.
What you will be doing: :

The candidate will be involved in monitoring and managing batch processing operations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely completion of scheduled jobs.

He/She will also be responsible for maintaining system documentation, performing routine maintenance tasks, and collaborating with other IT teams to resolve any operational challenges.

Additionally, he/she will handle SNOW incidents, ensuring they are logged, categorized, prioritized, and resolved efficiently.
What you bring :

Minimum 2 to 4yrs of Clear understanding of Batch architecture: The candidate should have a strong grasp of batch processing concepts, including job scheduling, execution, and monitoring.

Operations basics: Knowledge of mainframe operations, including system monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Technical skills: Proficiency in mainframe technologies and tools such as JCL (Job Control Language), TSO/ISPF, and SDSF.

Problem-solving abilities: Ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
