In a Typical Day, You’ll:

  • Identify and promptly research mailing / shipping issues and methods to ensure compliance with industry standards. 
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the postal service and publication sectors.
  • Drive strategic partnerships and vendor relationships via email, phone calls, and video meetings. 
  • Establish and maintain communication with USPS shipping support and any key industry stakeholders.
  • Analyze and optimize postage pricing strategies and adjust rates in response to market and regulatory changes. 
  • Utilize and handle tickets within FreshDesk, meeting team metrics.

To Land This Gig, You Need:

  • BCC Software knowledge and experience.
  • Experience with the USPS BCG, including IV scans, PostalOne, dashboard, scorecards, Informed Delivery, and eService portal.
  • Experience with a variety of mailing processes, including seamless acceptance, eInduction, drop-shipping, marketing mail, EDDM, flat mailing, and direct mail.
  • Awareness of postal pricing and biannual rate increases.
  • A proactive approach to postal strategy and efficiencies.
  • Customer Support software experience.
  • Data analysis and presentation skills.
  • USPS and shipping vendor relationship-management skills.
  • Experience with FedEx ground and freight shipping.
