Description
Illinois Electric Works is an electric motor shop that provides high quality service, distribution, sales, maintenance, and repair of high performance industrial equipment including motors, pumps, cranes, hoists, and fans.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up and operate lathes/milling machines.
- Familiar with 3 & 4 jaw chucks.
- OD & ID threading
- Read blueprints and create simple drawings.
- Use all types of micrometers to maintain tolerances.
- Reverse engineer simple parts.
- Machine multiple types of materials; bronze, steel, aluminum.
- Operate fork trucks, cranes, presses, and other related equipment.
- Read and understand job workorders.
- Be a team player willing to assist in other departments when necessary.
Pay: Target pay range for this role is $22/hr. - $25/hr. Pay offered will be determined based on knowledge, skills, ability and experience.

Requirements
Ideal candidates would possess 2 years’ experience or Vo Tech/Tech School training.
Willing to train motivated individuals.
