We are currently seeking a CNC Machinist to join our Aerospace team in our Joo Koon, Singapore office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and optimize CNC machines and machining equipment to manufacture precision aerospace components according to engineering specifications and production requirements.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, process sheets, and work instructions to determine machining methods, tooling requirements, and dimensional tolerances.
  • Perform machine setup, tool changes, offset adjustments, and routine machine maintenance to ensure efficient and accurate production.
  • Monitor machining operations and make necessary process adjustments to maintain product quality, dimensional accuracy, and cycle time targets.
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, and dial indicators.
  • Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues, and work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to drive timely resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies at all times.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S standards to support a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, setup reduction, and waste elimination.
  • Accurately complete production records, inspection reports, and other required documentation.
Responsibilities

Key Experience & Capabilities:

  • NITEC/Higher NITEC, technical certification, or equivalent qualification in Precision Engineering, Machining Technology, or related field.
  • Proven hands-on experience operating CNC machines, including:
  • CNC Turning
  • CNC Milling
  • Knowledge of G-code programming and CNC machine setup.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring equipment and inspection techniques.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to machining and tooling issues.
  • Prior experience in aerospace manufacturing or other high-precision industries is preferred.
  • Good coordination, manual dexterity, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Good communication skills and positive work attitude.
  • Willingness to work shifts and overtime when required.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Fanuc-controlled machines.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Experience handling tight tolerance and complex precision components.
  • Basic knowledge of quality systems and process compliance requirements in aerospace manufacturing
