- Prepare the appropriate tools for the job.
- Choose the material that is appropriate for the workpiece.
- Measure the material to specification before assembly and welding.
- Check the work to ensure it can be used effectively before delivering the work.
- Check the condition of the tools and ensure it is ready and safe. Report to the facility engineer or direct supervisor if repair or replacement is needed.
- Work and operate the function according to the safety standards.
