We are seeking a Machine Learning Research Assistant who is passionate about computer vision. You will collaborate with our R&D team in this role to design, implement, and test novel machine learning algorithms and models. This position is crucial to converting research papers into code, and documenting code and findings into formal publications or internal reports.
This role offers a hybrid work arrangement in either our Thessaloniki or Copenhagen offices, combining the flexibility of remote work with the collaborative benefits of on-site engagement.
Responsibilities
Conduct end-to-end research on ML and computer vision projects, from data collection/preprocessing to model development and evaluation.
Translate state-of-the-art research papers into implementable code, and document the process thoroughly.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML solutions into existing pipelines and products.
Manage code repositories using Git in a Unix-based environment.
Present research findings in internal meetings and contribute to technical publications or patent applications.
Required Hard Skills
Proficiency in Python for ML and data analysis.
5+ years of research experience in machine learning and/or computer vision, with a proven track record of publications or successful projects.
Ability to translate technical documents (research papers) into working code and document code/algorithmic approaches as formal research outputs.
Strong Unix skills for daily development and deployment tasks.
Experience with Git for version control and collaborative coding.
Experience in computer vision is a plus

The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark, or Thessaloniki, Greece. Please note that we do not offer relocation or work visa support if you cannot work from either location. Fully remote is not an option.
