We are looking for college students majoring in CS, EE, Stat, Health/Medical/Bio-informatics, Biostat, or similar quantitative areas to join Advanced Analytics team at IQVIA. As interns, you will be able to leverage IQVIA’s vast amount of real-world patient-level health data and meet exciting and challenging business needs such as physician targeting and segmentation, brand optimization, patient phenotyping in delivering real-world projects.
Summary of duty
- Conduct real-world study to solve data science problems at IQVIA by leveraging state of art methodologies.
- Write code to automate analytical processes or execute analytical plans
- Deliver analytics projects under supervision.
- Publication is not required as the end deliverable but it’s nice to have
Required Skills
- Concrete understanding of data science and advanced analytics in the business world
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, etc.
- Solid programming skills in PyTorch/Keras/TensorFlow (at least one of them).
- Intimate knowledge in Convolutional Neural Network and Semi-supervised Learning concepts and algorithms
- Interests in using data science technique in the health care industry and answering business questions.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $31,900.00 - $53,100.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
