Machine Learning Engineer 2025 (on-site)

Talroo, Inc. seeks multiple Machine Learning Engineers for its office in Austin TX.
Essential Functions performed in this role: 
• Design, build, and maintain machine learning models using frameworks such as Keras and TensorFlow while focusing on deep learning techniques and leveraging technologies like  Nvidia Triton, Delta Lake, and Parquet.
 • Test ideas by prototyping them against real data and iteratively improve models through offline metrics and online A/B tests.
 • Utilize tools like SQL, Apache Spark, and Big Data frameworks to analyze large datasets, ensuring data integrity and quality for machine learning applications.
 • Write efficient, maintainable code in Python, Java, and Scala. Implement non-blocking IO and utilize frameworks like Project Reactor and Spring Boot for application development.
 
Minimum Requirements: 

Education: Master’s degree in IT, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field

Experience Required: 
 o Machine learning models improvement through A/B testing,
 o Gradient boosted trees,
 o Deep learning frameworks,
 o NLP,
 o ETL,
 o Data featurization with systems like Apache Spark,
 o Programming with Java, Scala, or Python.

 Candidates must pass a comprehensive technical skills assessment prior to hire.

This is a fully in-office position, Monday-Friday, with no remote or hybrid work option available.

The selected candidate must have a local residence prior to start date.
