Machine Builder LeaderSince 1983, HTI Cybernetics® has provided intelligent manufacturing solutions that support and enhance production, including automation systems, material handling solutions, assembly tooling, and collaborative robotics.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Machining Builder Supervisor the Machine Builder Leader is responsible for timely and quality completion of assigned machine building jobs.
- Lead and delegate work to up to 10 employees in the mechanical assembly of machinery to blueprints.
- Maintain the machine build assembly dates and quality of build.
- Verify conformance of parts to bills of materials and prints.
- Liaison with engineering and project management departments as needed to successfully complete jobs in a timely manner.
- Travel to customer sites when needed to assist with machine installation.
- Any other duties assigned as needed.
Work Hours:
6:00am – 2:30pm (or 4:30pm when needed), Monday – Friday, with occasional Saturday’s.
50 - 56 hours per week on average.
Requirements
Education/Skills Required:
- 8+ years of experience in machine building.
- 1 + year as Leader or Supervisor
- Proven ability to read prints
- Proven experience in managing a team.
- Proven ability to manage schedules and timelines.
