What you’ll do
Run the full deal lifecycle from initial outreach through LOI, diligence, closing, and early integration
Build and manage a high-quality pipeline of investment targets, including direct outreach to firm owners, brokers, and advisors
Develop investment theses, conduct market mapping, and prioritize targets aligned with Modus’ strategy
Lead cross-functional diligence across financial, operational, legal, regulatory, and technology workstreams
Own valuation and underwriting, including building financial models, scenario analyses, and return frameworks
Partner with operations and finance on post-close integration planning and early performance tracking
What we look for
3+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, transaction advisory, or strategy consulting
Demonstrated experience executing transactions across the full lifecycle, with increasing ownership
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; ability to independently build and pressure-test operating and deal models
Comfort managing multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Clear and concise communicator with strong judgment and decision-making discipline
High ownership mindset with strong attention to detail and execution rigor
Bonus: experience with professional services M&A
Compensation
Competitive base salary ($150K–$300K+ depending on experience)

Skills Required
- 3+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, transaction advisory, or strategy consulting
