Part of the Lombard Odier Group, Lombard Odier Corporate Advisory supports business owners in their strategic M&A decisions, succession planning and family governance.
M&A Intern - 6 months - start date 1st of August or 1st of September
Your Role :
- Support the Corporate Advisory team on M&A and corporate finance mandates across sell-side, buy-side and valuation engagements
- Participate in a broad range of tasks including company and market research, preparation of proposals/pitches and transaction documents (teasers, information memoranda, financial analyses, etc.)
- Assist in the preparation of financial models and valuation materials under the supervision of Analyst and Associate
- Contribute to the commercial effort of the team through industry research and preparation of meeting materials
- Ensure rigorous follow-up of internal workstreams and deliverables with proactivity and strong attention to detail
- Liaise with internal partners and departments to support the delivery of timely and accurate information for clients and prospects
Your Profile :
- University student enrolled in a relevant Master’s or Bachelor’s degree program
- Person willing to work in an agile and collaborative environment
- Strong numerical and analytical capabilities, including understanding of financial statements analysis, valuation and modelling concepts
- Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
- Very good team spirit, reliability and sense of client service
- Diligent, autonomous and able to multitask effectively
- Very good IT skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong sense of confidentiality
- Very good level of English and French. German and/or Swiss German is an asset
- First experience in investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory, private equity, management consulting or similar environment is an asset
- Residence in Switzerland
