Full-Time | Monday-Friday, some weekends and evenings | 9:00am-5:00pm | Manager on Duty Rotation
As our Director of Sales, you'll be more than a salesperson. You'll be a trusted guide, helping prospective residents and their families navigate one of life's most important decisions. Through relationship-building, community outreach, strategic marketing, and exceptional customer service, you'll help people discover everything that makes LVMG a special place to live. What You'll Do:As the Director of Sales, you'll be the driving force behind occupancy growth and community outreach by:
Driving Sales Success- Developing and executing sales strategies that achieve occupancy goals
- Managing leads from first inquiry through move-in
- Conducting engaging tours, presentations, and follow-up conversations
- Building and maintaining a strong referral network
- Managing waitlists, retention efforts, and lead nurturing programs
- Serving as a trusted resource for prospective residents and families
- Creating connections with community partners, referral sources, and local organizations
- Engaging current residents as ambassadors for our community
- Representing LVMG at networking events, expos, trade shows, and community gatherings
- Helping shape marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and outreach initiatives
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activity
- Evaluating sales reports, occupancy metrics, and lead generation efforts
- Supporting digital marketing and community communications
- Recruiting, training, coaching, and developing sales office team members
- Creating a positive, collaborative, and results-driven environment
- Providing mentorship and leadership to help team members succeed
- Coordinating smooth transitions for incoming residents
- Managing applications, inventory, and occupancy records
- Partnering with community leaders to ensure a seamless resident experience

QualificationsWhat You’ll Need as a Director of Sales:
Education | Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field required.
- Minimum of five years of progressive sales experience, preferably in a leadership role, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Demonstrated expertise in market research, strategic planning, and budget management.
- Proven consultative selling skills with the ability to close sales and consistently achieve sales activity targets.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment in handling sensitive and confidential matters.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively and tactfully with individuals at all levels, including residents, staff, families, external vendors/authorities, and the public.
- Strong attention to detail in writing, proofreading, managing priorities, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating a cooperative, respectful, and compassionate approach to colleagues and resident care.
- Skilled in the use of standard office equipment and technology.
- Maintains professionalism, composure, and a positive attitude when managing challenging situations.
- Physically able to move throughout the workday and lift items up to 10 pounds using safe handling practices.
- May be necessary to assist with resident evacuation during emergency situations.
- Complies with organizational health and safety requirements, including vaccination policies or valid exemptions.

Carroll Lutheran Village is a Westminster, Maryland-based operator of senior housing communities. Founded in 1998, it serves more than 600 residents with nearly 300 team members.
