We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high performance cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will collaborate closely with cross functional technical teams, internal stakeholders, and clients to architect reliable cloud infrastructures and solve complex technical challenges. Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer, your core duties will include:
- Designing, deploying, and managing enterprise grade, scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
- Building and maintaining robust Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
- Developing, optimizing, and managing CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments (Azure DevOps or similar).
- Proactively monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing cloud environments for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Implementing and enforcing security best practices, compliance, and identity/access management (IAM) across all cloud resources.
- Collaborating with development and operations teams in an agile environment to architect solutions and resolve complex issues.
- Leading and executing the migration of on premises or other cloud workloads to Azure.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, and establishing logging and alerting frameworks.

Mandatory Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of handson, professional experience designing and operating solutions in Microsoft Azure.
- Proven expertise in Cloud Infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM, and/or Bicep.
- Strong experience in designing, building, and operating CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- In-depth understanding of Azure networking (VNet, NSG, Load Balancers), security (Defender for Cloud, Key Vault), monitoring, and governance.
- Solid proficiency in automation and scripting using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and/or Python.
- Handson experience with Azure observability tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights).
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills for complex technical scenarios.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with professional proficiency in English.
- This position is open only to candidates already residing in the Netherlands.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400) are a significant advantage.
