We have an opportunity for an LSS Process Automation Project Manager m/f/d to join us at Honeywell, in Warsaw, where you execute LSS Projects in Poland (and neighboring countries as needed) to deliver best in class solutions to meet customer expectations and within estimated financial performance. Lead the skills development, information sharing and project management discipline necessary to the deliver Projects in a timely manner at planned gross margins or higher in the region.
This role is on a hybrid schedule, 3 days from the office and 2 days from home.
Key responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for managing Projects in Poland (and neighboring countries as needed) from opportunity development stage to handing over the project successfully to customer.
- Ensures delivery of projects on time, within scope with zero or positive deviation.
- Maintains customer satisfaction at acceptable levels and promptly resolves customer issues.
- Ownership for Projects financial performance. Monitors financial performance monthly and reviews estimates versus actuals to continuously improve Projects operational metrics.
- Effectively leads the implementation of productivity enhancing process changes related to project delivery.
- Responsible for driving costs down to become more competitive in the marketplace.
- Controls cost and maximize productivity through the implementation of effective methods and standard processes.
- Drive Remote Migration Services for all Migration projects.
- Enhance utilization of GMSC for all Migration projects
- Ensures the availability of tools, equipment, and materials required while maintaining and controlling inventory levels. Ensures projects are resourced properly.
- Participate in estimate review process prior to jobs being quoted to ensure labor estimates are correct and that the work is achievable from a technical perspective.
- Ensure that subcontracts, where applicable, are complete and documented.
- Participate in material SIOP call with factory planners to provide forecast for Backlog and Front log project order demand to factory.
Key skills and qualifications
- BS degree or equivalent technical or management experience required.
- Business fluent in written and spoken English
- Experience in project management within process automation industry
- Thorough knowledge of handling Projects field operations and financial processes
- The ability to demonstrate energy and determination to achieve results and improvement by overcoming obstacles, remaining effective despite setbacks, and challenging current thinking
- The ability to engage employees by providing relevant information in a timely manner using clear and compelling messages and by listening to and valuing input from employees
- The ability to understand the implications and assess the appropriate degree of acceptable risk and take actions to minimize risk
- Availability to travel 30% of time
