The Fabric Processing Associate position is part of a team responsible for cleaning and inspecting all fabric materials for our Tents, Structures and Flooring division under the direction of the Fabric Processing Supervisor and/or the Internal Operations Assistant Director.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Following the best practices for safety
- Examine and sort fabric according to material, grade, and required cleaning technique
- Assist in the laundering process for tent tops, sidewall, barrel covers etc
- Operate commercial washers, and fabric washing/drying conveyor system
- Conduct product quality control inspections
- Tagging and bagging cleaned/dried fabric
- Assist with the folding process of cleaned/dried fabric
- Lift cleaned/dried fabric onto storage rack system
- Assist in pulling/preparing fabric items orders for delivery
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications Include:
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Must have a positive attitude
- Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and weekends
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lb
- Must be at least 18 years of age
