Peter Becker Community is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our nursing team. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in overseeing resident care, supporting nursing staff, coordinating with physicians, and helping ensure residents receive the highest quality care and services.
ScheduleFlex Overnight 7pm to 7am.
What You'll Do- Provide direct nursing care and administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and resident care plans.
- Monitor resident conditions and promptly communicate changes to physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Complete resident assessments and make routine rounds to ensure quality care and resident well-being.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure continuity of care through effective shift-to-shift communication.
- Support CNAs and other nursing staff by providing guidance and assistance as needed.
- Promote a safe environment by following infection control, safety, and emergency response procedures.
- Collaborate with residents, families, physicians, and team members to deliver compassionate, person-centered care.
- Participate in care conferences, staff meetings, and required education programs.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, resident rights, and all applicable policies and regulations.
Required:
- Current Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or senior living.
- Compassionate and resident-focused approach to care.
- Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.
- Dependable, professional, and accountable.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.
