Looking for a nursing position that gives you consistency, purpose, and plenty of time off? Southern Health Partners is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality healthcare to patients at the Coffee County Jail.
This is an opportunity to use your nursing skills in a structured environment while making a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve.
💙 What You'll Do- Provide nursing care to patients within the correctional facility
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Perform assessments and respond to patient healthcare needs
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes appropriately
- Document care accurately and maintain complete medical records
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide safe, quality patient care
- Follow facility policies, healthcare protocols, and applicable regulations
- Current and unrestricted LPN license in the state of Alabama
- Current CPR certification
- Previous correctional healthcare experience is helpful, but not required
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and facility credentialing requirements
