LPN/RN Charge Nurse Openings: Full-time & Part-time

Key Responsibilities, include but are not limited to the following:

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring residents' responses and documenting care accurately.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical or mental condition to the RN Supervisor and healthcare team.
• Supervise and support Nursing Assistants by providing guidance, direction, and ensuring quality resident care.
• Assist with resident assessments, admissions, transfers, and other clinical needs as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation, physician orders, and resident records.
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, families, and interdisciplinary team members to promote the best possible resident outcomes.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment while following infection prevention, safety, and confidentiality standards.
• Maintain medication and supply inventory as needed.
• Participate in required training and continuing education programs.
• Adheres to all Christ the King Manor regulations, policies and procedures particularly those regarding safety and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved course in Licensed Practical Nursing with a current license to practice nursing in Pennsylvania. Previous experience as an LPN in an extended care facility preferred.
• Must obtain Pre-Hire Physical
• Must obtain 2 step TB
• Must be available to work every other weekend.
