Position Summary:

The Loyalty Campaign Planner is responsible for the end-to-end setup, execution, quality assurance, and optimization of marketing promotional campaigns across multiple customer-facing channels. This role serves as the operational owner of promotional offers, ensuring campaigns are accurately configured, thoroughly tested, and aligned with business objectives across Personalized Offers, Rewards, eCommerce, Retail Media, and other marketing initiatives. The Loyalty Campaign Planner collaborates with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver a seamless customer experience while driving sales, engagement, retention, and program performance.


Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Own the end-to-end setup, configuration, and deployment of loyalty, rewards, personalized, eCommerce, and Retail Media offers across promotional platforms including EME, NCR, ECRS, Inmar and related systems.
  • Coordinate promotional execution activities to ensure campaigns are launched accurately, on time, and in accordance with business objectives.
  • Develop and execute testing and quality assurance processes to validate offer functionality, discount logic, coupon clipping, and customer experience prior to launch.
  • Investigate and resolve campaign, coupon, and customer-reported issues by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Review, proof, and validate offer data, targeting files, UPC lists, coupon content, and promotional materials for accuracy and consistency.
  • Analyze offer performance and collaborate with partners to optimize offer strategies, improve engagement, and replace underperforming promotions.
  • Audit promotional requests and campaign inputs to ensure offers are correctly configured, aligned with objectives, and compliant with operational standards.
  • Partner with merchandising, pricing, and marketing teams to minimize offer overlap and improve promotion effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute targeted customer, associate, and specialty discount programs that drive sales and loyalty.
  • Serve as a cross-functional liaison between Loyalty, eCommerce, Retail Media, Marketing, and Operations teams to support customer lifecycle initiatives and continuous program improvement.

Here’s what you’ll need: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 to 5+ years job experience in Marketing, Advertising, or related area. 
  • Passionate about the customer – always looking to understand our customers, what motivates them and drives their behaviors, and then continuously improve the customer experience by solving customer problems.
  • Strong attention to detail with demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working with campaign management platforms, customer data, or promotional systems.
  • Effective analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Attention to detail and effective planning, organization, prioritization, and project/time management skills to meet deadline driven timelines. 
  • General knowledge of marketing strategies and basic analytical skills. 
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) required. 
  • Ability to travel up to 10% based upon department and customer needs.
