About The Role:

As a Graduate Investment Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality managed funds product research to financial advisers and subscribers working alongside experienced Investment Analysts and Senior Investment Analysts. Over time, you will gain exposure to a diverse range of asset classes, including Australian and Global Equities, Fixed Income, Property, Infrastructure, Alternatives, and Multi Asset portfolios.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive analysis across various asset classes (including Australian Equities, Global Equities, Fixed Interest, Cash and Alternatives)
• Facilitate the coverage initiation of new funds and maintain ongoing coverage of products.
• Develop technical knowledge of products across asset classes, Lonsec processes and house views.
  
• Assist in report writing and meeting preparation, involving the synthesis of written information and evaluation of product merits.
  

About You:

• An undergraduate degree in a business or mathematical based discipline e.g. BComm, BBus, BA, BEc, BSc, BApSc 
• 1 + years of experience within a research house, financial advisory firm, fund manager, or similar, with a strong focus on financial analysis and market knowledge.
• Strong qualitative research skills, with the ability to distil financial information efficiently and convey it clearly and concisely.
  
• A demonstrable interest in finance and investment
  
• Proficient quantitative skills for data manipulation and analysis.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
• Demonstrable understanding of investments, equities, and ETFs, or a keen interest to acquire such knowledge.
  
• Communication skills that allow you to ask probing questions with confidence and clarity
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team, while also taking ownership of your own objectives
