The Opportunity
The Logistics Specialist position is required to facilitate the receipt, storage, and issuance of marketed products in a cGMP environment. Additional duties for the role would be data entry into various databases and ensuring department compliance with policies and procedures.
This position is located in Louisville, KY, On-site
Shift: 7:30 am- 6:30 pm from Monday through Thursday
Logistics Specialists perform the following activities in predominately a warehouse environment:

Accurately pick and pack marketed products against shipping orders.

Using manual labor, pallet jacks, and forklifts, move product and non-GMP supplies from storage areas and delivery trucks.

Perform physical counts of product.

Perform functionality/safety checks of equipment (i.e. forklifts)

Access various databases and input data with a high level of accuracy.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Record creation, collection, and storage per corporate retention schedules

Perform department-related project activity that may include investigating, analyzing, formulating possible solutions, documenting processes, and communicating results.
Who you are
-
High school diploma or equivalent, and 5-6 years of industry experience.

A bachelor's or bachelor's of science with a concentration in life or physical sciences is preferred. Extensive inventory management or Bio/ Pharma industry experience may substitute.

Ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions.

Good basic mathematical skills.

Proficiency with PC desktop applications and business operations software systems.

Ability to work in a highly cooperative team environment.

Flexibility in duty assignment and ability to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as required and different shifts.

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to repeatedly lift more than 40 lbs.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Primary Location State is insert min and max of hiring range. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
