Torch Technologies is seeking a Logistics Specialist (Obsolescence & Lifecycle Sustainment) to join our team and support Army TMDE programs by ensuring long-term system readiness, lifecycle health, and sustainment effectiveness across calibration and maintenance enterprises. This role focuses on analyzing obsolescence risks, sustainment trends, and supply chain performance to maintain operational availability and mission success.
As a Logistics Specialist, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:
Lead lifecycle sustainment planning and support for Army TMDE systems, ensuring availability from fielding through end-of-life
Analyze sustainment trends, calibration cycles, maintenance data, and supply chain constraints to improve system readiness and supportability
Collaborate with PM TMDE, TMDE Support Centers, supply chain stakeholders, and engineering teams to resolve sustainment gaps and readiness degraders
Develop and maintain technical documentation including sustainment plans, SOPs, lifecycle support plans, and DMSMS documentation
Support planning, testing, and integration activities related to calibration, maintenance workflows, and lifecycle sustainment strategies
Prepare and present sustainment metrics, readiness dashboards, and trend analyses to leadership and stakeholders
Identify and mitigate risks related to obsolescence, DMSMS, supply delays, and lifecycle performance to ensure program execution success
Maintain sustainment data in Army logistics systems (e.g., GCSS-Army, AESIP, LIW) and support compliance with Army regulations (AR 750-43, AR 710-2, DA PAM 750-8)
Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent transferrable professional experience
5+ years of relevant experience in logistics, sustainment, lifecycle management, or related field
Active Secret security clearance required (must be able to maintain)
Experience supporting Army TMDE sustainment, calibration programs, maintenance operations, or similar logistics environments
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in DoD, federal, or defense-related environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting DoD or Federal programs, particularly Army sustainment or TMDE environments
Familiarity with Army logistics systems such as GCSS-Army, AESIP, and LIW
Experience working with cross-functional teams, government stakeholders, or acquisition programs
Strong technical documentation, briefing, and reporting experience
Familiarity with systems engineering, lifecycle logistics, DMSMS management, or sustainment engineering
Advanced degree in Logistics, Engineering, or related field, or relevant certifications (e.g., DAWIA Life Cycle Logistics, DMSMS Practitioner, CLT)
