As a Logistics Specialist, you are responsible for:
Developing and leading end-to-end logistics solutions to achieve on-time pickup and delivery performance.
Managing logistics costs to support operational plans and budget objectives.
Coordinating transportation activities and logistics execution to ensure customer requirements are met.
Monitoring logistics performance and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
Developing recommendations to improve logistics approaches, methods, procedures, and business processes.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service levels and reduce operational costs.
Communicating with colleagues, logistics providers, and business stakeholders regarding logistics activities and coordination requirements.
Providing logistics coordination and support across supply chain and operational functions.
Contributing to projects as a team member while supporting timely delivery of project objectives.
Tracking logistics performance and supporting corrective actions when delivery or service issues arise.
