Position: Logistics Specialist for International Programs (Senior)
Overview: ITC Defense is seeking a Logistics Specialist for International Programs, Senior to support complex international aviation programs in Lexington Park, Maryland. This position supports Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and international program efforts focused on aviation logistics, sustainment, and global support structures. The role operates within a collaborative environment supporting U.S. Government and international program objectives.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) studies, analyses, and evaluations in support of major international aviation programs.
- Analyze complex international logistics, sustainment, and program requirements and develop solutions that support program readiness, lifecycle management, and long-term sustainment.
- Develop and evaluate cooperative logistics support arrangements and global support concepts with allied and partner nations, ensuring alignment with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) objectives and partner-nation requirements.
- Assess international logistics support structures and recommend improvements that enhance interoperability and cooperative sustainment across programs and partner nations.
- Coordinate with government stakeholders to support the development and implementation of international logistics policies, strategies, and frameworks.
- Provide senior-level analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making, program planning, and execution of complex international logistics initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Active Department of Defense Secret or Interim Secret security clearance.
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university and more than ten (10) years of relevant professional experience in FMS, logistics, program management, acquisition, lifecycle management, technical or business analysis, or planning. Additional relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
- Demonstrated experience supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS), international defense programs, or other international security cooperation activities.
- Experience supporting aviation logistics, sustainment, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), or lifecycle logistics activities.
- Experience conducting logistics studies, analyses, or evaluations and translating findings into actionable recommendations that address complex program or sustainment requirements.
- Knowledge of DoD acquisition, logistics, and lifecycle management processes as they relate to aviation and international programs.
- Experience coordinating logistics or program activities with U.S. Government stakeholders and/or international partners.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare and communicate technical or program information to stakeholders at varying organizational levels.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in support of multiple program priorities and requirements.
- Experience with the P-3 aircraft platform as an operator or logistician.
- Prior experience supporting NAVAIR or Naval Aviation programs.
- Experience developing or implementing cooperative logistics or international sustainment strategies.
