Your Role

As a Logistics Project Coordinator at Munich Electrification, you will join our operations team, collaborating closely with the Sample Shop and Logistics team. Your primary responsibilities will include managing the logistics activities essential to our company's operations. This involves ensuring the successful distribution of goods to our esteemed automotive OEM customers, production partners, and suppliers. Additionally, you will define, discuss, and finalize logistics and packaging concepts for new projects in collaboration with our EMS and customers. In this role, you will also optimize and develop new logistics processes to ensure efficient product flow. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the expansion of our distribution network through exciting new projects.

Your future tasks at a glance

  • Develop and finalize logistics and packaging concepts in collaboration with our customers
  • Lead the implementation of these logistics and packaging concepts with our production partners
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries alongside Operations Managers
  • Manage warehouse operations, inventory, and in-house prototype activities
  • Establish and maintain regular communication regarding logistics with production partners, suppliers, and customers
  • Define, track, and report key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement in our distribution processes
  • Maintain and enhance the overall logistics process landscape

What you bring with you

  • Educational background in logistics, freight, or a related field
  • Previous experience in freight and logistics, ideally with a focus on organizing shipments in the automotive industry
  • ERP experience in logistics, preferably with SAP ByDesign
  • Ability to handle tools and perform maintenance repairs
  • Highly motivated, eager to learn, and willing to take on responsibility
  • Preference for teamwork and strong communication skills (proficiency in English and German is advantageous)
  • Possession of a valid driving license is a plus
