Duties & Responsibilities

DigiFlight, Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Logistics Product Support Integrator (PSI) who will perform logistics duties for the Apache Attack Helicopter (AAH) Project Management Office (PMO), Logistics Management Division in support of the Development and Modernization Product Office. The candidate will provide lifecycle logistics support in planning, developing and executing acquisition and sustainment integrated product support (IPS) with a focus on requirements for the Government Owned Cockpit Architecture (GOCA), NGC1, Aviation Mission Systems Architecture (AMSA), Rapidly Adaptable Standards-compliant Open Radio (RASOR), High Energy Laser (HEL) (nose) & Targeting/Pilotage products. Additionally, the analyst will:

  • Assist the Government in developing acquisition documents, such as Contract Statements of Work (SOW), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) requirements, work breakdown structures (WBS), schedules, and Independent Government Cost Estimate (IGCE), life cycle cost estimates etc.
  • Assist the Government in monitoring contractor and government activity performance and progress, conduct technical evaluation of contractor proposals and changes
  • Assist the Government with compliance with DoW Property Accountability Policies by ensuring Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) enrollment in Accountable Property System of Record (APSR) and contract compliance for Government Furnished Property (GFP) management and accountability
  • Analyze and assess Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), Modification Work Orders (MWO), Technical Data Packages (TDP), and Requests for Waiver/Deviations to identify logistics impacts and requirements for effective and efficient lifecycle product support
  • Assist the Government in planning, developing, managing, budgeting, and acquiring of technical data and product support information to support lifecycle management
  • Assist the Government in the development, update, and review of IPS documentation and products including but not limited to Product Support Strategy (PSS), Basis of Issue Plan (BOIP), Materiel Release, Materiel Fielding Plans/Agreements (MFP), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation (PHS&T), Logistics Product Data (LPD) and Logistics Demonstration Plans 
  • Provide technical support in the analysis and evaluation of raw engineering source data (i.e. drawings, reports etc.) covering maintenance, repair, and test procedures and assists in the development of practical procedures for inclusion in equipment publications 
  • Analyze logistics support source data during equipment publication verification and determine validity of operator and maintenance tasks, failure symptom analysis, troubleshooting data, and equipment functional description data 
  • Identify and ensure compliance with all applicable Statutory and Regulatory publications governing Logistics Product Support (i.e. DOD 5000.02, AR 700-127) 
  • Develop, revise, and maintain products and reports including but not limited to recurring reports, metrics, schedules, courses of action (COA) briefs, standard operating procedures (SOP), policies, memorandums, presentations, or special studies, as required 
  • Assist the Government in resolving complex logistics problems affecting numerous activities and units spread over large geographical areas through the development and implementation of corrective action plans and program enhancements 
  • Participate and support Government and contractor program reviews, integrated product teams (IPT), working groups (WG), staff meetings, ad hoc meetings, or other engagements virtually and in person at OEM facilities as required.


Minimum Experience

  • Bachelors +3 years, Associates +7 years, or 15 years Apache armament/avionics field experience
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time

  • ·Knowledge of the 12 Integrated Product Support Elements (Product Support Management, Design Interface, Sustaining Engineering, Supply Support, Maintenance Planning and Management, Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T), Technical Data, Support Equipment, Training and Training Support, Manpower and Personnel, Facilities and Infrastructure, IT Systems Continuous Support) 
  • Knowledge of Logistics Product Data and Product Support Analysis (ex. Logistics Support Analysis Records, Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Business Case Analysis (BCA), Item Unique Identification (IUID), Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Materiel Shortages (DMSMS), Basis of Issue (BOI), Basis of Issue Plan (BOIP), Basis of Issue Plan Feeder Data (BOIPFD), Product Support Strategy (PSS), Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), etc.) 
  • Knowledge of Technical Data (ie. Modification Work Orders, Technical Manuals, drawings, Depot Maintenance Work Requirements (DMWR), Technical Bulletins, etc.) 
  • Knowledge of Materiel Release, Software Materiel Release, and Software Release 
  • Knowledge of Statements of Work (SOW), Statement of Objectives (SOO), Performance Work Statements (PWS), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), Data Item Descriptions (DID), FAR/DFAR clauses, Technical Evaluations, etc. 
  • Knowledge of Capability Development Documents (CDD), Directed Requirements (DR), etc. 
  • Knowledge of Kick off Meetings, Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), Critical Design Reviews (CDR), Physical Configuration Audits (PCA), Prototype, First Article Inspections (FAI), MWO/TM Validations, Verifications, etc. 
  • Knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements (Public Laws, Army Regulations, Department of War (DoW) requirements, etc.) related to acquisition, logistics, and government property

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree +3 years, Associate's +7 years, or 15 years Apache armament/avionics field experience
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Knowledge of the 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements
