Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to improve and maintain high levels of On-Time-In-Full order fulfillment at 3rd Party locations
- Day to day management of multiple 3PL sites (warehouses) within the Americas. Ensure 3PLs are always on target for in-bounds, receiving, and out-bound expectations
- End to end ownership of all Americas same day and next day delivery
- Inventory handling control, including daily reconciliation and cycle count activities
- Resolve day to day operational issues at all 3rd party warehouse locations
- Responsible to help build, implement, maintain and document 3PL SOP’s/SOW’s
- Lead efforts to drive continuous improvement in Warehouse Operations
- Ensure local distribution process and systems are compliant with Quality
- Establish and drive deliverables that actualize commitments in the Annual planning and Budgeting processes.
- Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for Americas logistics and distribution.
- Responsible to help build and maintain excellent partnerships with our vendors.
- Manage all aspects of the relationship of 3PL partners to deliver quality, safety, service and cost goals
- Proactively manage the 3PL KPIs against industry benchmarks and actively drive logistics performance towards best-in-class levels
- Continually evaluate 3PL partners against best practice standards
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or similar disciplines
- Excellent supervisory, communication, and organizational skills
- At least 6+ years of leadership experience in warehouse management
- Experience in supply chain management, logistics, and carrier management
- 3+ years of experience in program management, logistics, reverse logistics, warehousing 3PL management, supply chain, or transportation
- Oracle R12 knowledge a plus
- Experience with data mining and data analysis
- Practical application of program management methodology including PMP/Lean Six Sigma/Kaizen
- Experience handling changing priorities and using good judgment when working in stressful situations
- Demonstrable problem-solving, mathematic, and analytical skills using data to drive decisions in a business environment
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency in effective communication of goals and strategies across multiple leadership levels of an organization
- Demonstrated experience communicating data insights to others, including use of data visualization tools
