SMX is seeking a skilled Logistics Manager to assist our government clients. This position is located in Taipei, Taiwan. The position provides support of day-to-day logistics operations for a complex program, including assisting logistics and site improvement coordination with various stakeholders and deployed personnel. This individual will be the touch point for all deliveries and paperwork processing for property handover.
This position requires a DoD Secret which requires US citizenship for work on DoD contracts.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage supply systems, support services and subcontractors and vendors providing services and materials in a specific location
- Act as logistics liaison to both internal and external customers, providing timely and accurate input via in person interactions, telephone, email, and VTCs
- Initiate, process, and close/complete relevant supply chain documents
- Coordinate, streamline, and complete the delivery process for all projects
- Market research for site support projects
- Execute DLA Disposition (DRMO) turn-in actions by accurately inspecting equipment and generating all required documentation, while ensuring automated property accountability records are maintained accurately as needed to support the customer
- Lean forward to identify needs and provide proactive support for the government logistics cell
- Assist in tracking of all operational support requests for all projects
- Assist in the issue and turn-in of equipment and supplies as needed
- Assist with the management of logistical requirements IAW Department of Defense (DoD)

Required Skills & Experience
- Valid US Passport
- Active Secret Clearance
- AA or BA/BS in relevant field - One-year related experience may be substituted for each year of required education
- 4 years’ experience, within the last 10 years, in logistics or facilities management
- Four to six years of logistical management experience with an emphasis in military logistics or six to eight years of similarly complex operations experience
- Strong communication skills, verbally and in written format
- Must be proactive and communicate clearly
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Must have the ability to multitask, ensuring timely completion of multiple complex assignments with competing and shifting priorities
- Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers
Desired Skills & Experience
- Required clearance: Secret
- Prior experience in barracks management
- Experience with DIOGENES and/or other web-based DoD asset/property management systems
- Experience working with subcontractors in a Department of Defense environment
- Demonstrated Experience/previous responsibilities as Military Logistician/SNCO or Officer within Special Operations or deployed warfighting units where asset accountability including repair, distribution, shipping/receiving and controlled cryptological equipment inventory were of utmost importance is HIGHLY desired

The proposed salary for this position is:
$108,300—$180,400 USD
