At Atmus, we are looking for a Logistics Leader that will direct, manage and lead a team to ensure speed, dependability and efficiency in logistics operations for the EMEA Region. This Leader will also ensure internal and external customers' expectations and continues to demonstrate that requirements are met while ensuring Supply Chain optimization, costs efficiency and delivering results.
The focus is set primarily on execution, performance management, and continuous improvement — managing 3PL performance, transportation execution, KPIs, cost, service, and issue resolution.
The Logistics Leader for EMEA appropriately reflects:
- Strong regional leadership and accountability for EMEA logistics performance.
- Day-to-day leadership of our 3PL and transportation partners.

- Champion continuous improvement projects that align with Atmus Operating System and Functional Excellence direction by leveraging common processes, tools and information systems – leading the EMEA region.
- Partner with internal and external functional stakeholders to maintain strategic and critical supplier relationships.
- Ensure Supply Chains, intra-company and intercompany, meet all customer and business requirements.
- Align with internal business partners to garner support and advocacy of enterprise Supply Chain initiatives.
- Review Key Performance Indicators and operational trends to validate root cause analysis and corrective action plans if KPI`s do not meet target.
- Intervene to address Supply Chain failures as necessary within EMEA.
- Prepare and manage an annual operating plan including expense, resources, and capital for EMEA.
- Set the aim for the organization and ensure individual work plans are consistent with Supply Chain initiatives within EMEA.
- Closely collaborate with Global Supply Chain Leader to follow global standardization guidance for the EMEA region.
Education, licenses and certifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Master degree desired (MBA is strongly preferred) for Logistics or Engineering degree will be a plus (or equivalent experience).
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations but not required.
Experience
- Confirmed experience within EMEA for implementing new 3PL/carrier arrangements, handling third-party relations, and influencing cost and performance objectives;
- 15+ overall years of overall relevant experience in the industry (3PL, freight forwarder, operations, …) including but not limited to 10+ years of demonstrated ability leading global logistics operations, knowledge of the EMEA region is very strong preferred;
- Experience working with and/or leading global trade compliance activities and knowledge of import/export guidelines;
- Detailed understanding of international, heavyweight, parcel, ground, air, and ocean logistics operations;
- Sophisticated knowledge of logistics related software and technology systems such as TMS, WMS, YMS, …;
- Knowledge of Oracle will be a plus.
