We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Logistics Division Chief in the areas of readiness and fleet management. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical lead, leveraging advanced data engineering and business intelligence tools to optimize Fixed Wing project office operations within the Army 365 environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Engineering & ETL: Analyze, plan, and develop custom SQL scripts, packages, and stored procedures. Execute ETL processes to integrate Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and Army Vantage data files into the Fixed Wing data warehouse.
- Business Intelligence: Design and maintain custom Power BI dashboards and paginated reports to monitor performance-based logistics and fleet readiness. Manage periodic report subscriptions for leadership.
- Data Integrity: Perform regular data cleansing and validation on data warehouse tables to ensure high-quality reporting and analysis.
- Application Development: Develop and revise low-code solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate to streamline project office workflows.
- Collaboration Infrastructure: Manage and maintain Microsoft Teams channels and SharePoint sites for the Logistics Division to ensure seamless information sharing.
- Advisory: Provide expert technical guidance to the Division Chief regarding data-driven fleet management and readiness strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of experience.
- US Citizenship with an active Secret clearance.
- Certification: Active CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with:
- Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) & Data Tools (SSDT).
- Microsoft Power BI Desktop & Power BI Report Builder.
- Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
- Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise.
Preferred Experience
- Background in Army logistics or aviation fleet management.
- Experience handling Army Vantage or large-scale military data sets.
- Strong understanding of performance-based logistics (PBL) metrics.
