ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
The incumbent should have strong Microsoft excel skills and basic logistics knowledge/experience in the industry. Applicant who is open-minded with the mindset of continuous improvement & the will to learn more would be the best fit. The role requires coordination with cross-functional teams & external parties, it also requires independent work on reporting & SOP as well.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Coordinate with vendors, 3PL and internal parties on daily basis to ensure ASN / EDI flow is smooth and on-time
- Troubleshoot the root cause with vendors, 3PL and internal parties for any ASN / EDI issues
- Prepare bi-weekly volume forecast for all transportation modes to support capacity management
- Manage vendors and proactively drive for SOP compliance on ASN / EDI timeliness and accuracy
- Manage logistics service providers’ and proactively drive for continuous operational excellence on ASN / EDI timeliness and accuracy
- Handle vendors’ and internal customers’ enquiries on ASN / documentation issues.
- Handle ad-hoc reports to support logistics operations
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Strong sense of urgency & ownership, ability to multi-task
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills is a MUST
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Must be able to work independently as well as a team player and can manage own workload
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
